Rev. Danny Gleason- Pastor
 
     Pastor Danny, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, has served United Methodist congregations for 25+ years, and began as our Senior Pastor in June 2011.  Pastor Danny is a graduate of Southwood High School, Centenary College of Louisiana, Saint Paul School of Theology Seminary and is completing his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Wesley Theological Seminary.  He has served on the ministerial staff of Summer Grove UMC of Shreveport, LA, First UMC of Olathe, KS, First UMC of Bossier City, LA, and as senior pastor of Moss Bluff UMC in Lake Charles, LA and St. Francisville UMC.
      In his free time, Pastor Danny enjoys playing golf, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Beth and their son Matthew.    
 
 
  
 
 Dianne Wilkinson - Administrator & Program Director
     Dianne Wilkinson joined the staff of Benton UMC in January 2009.  Her position includes the Ministry of Administration and Programming.  Dianne served on the staff of Trinity UMC in Ruston, LA for 25 years in various capacities including: Director of Christian Education, Director of Programs, Director of Leisure Ministries, and Church Business Administrator.  Dianne is the proud mother of 3 adult sons and the grandmother of three adorable grandchildren.
 
     Dianne has received certification from the National Association of Church Business Administrators following her course of study at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.  Dianne is also a certified United Methodist Church Business Administrator.  This is awarded through the National Council of Church Finance and Administration of the United Methodist Church.  Dianne has served on the executive board of UMACBA for the past 3 years and will be installed as President in July at the national conference to be held in Long Beach, CA.

 Rev. Carl Munyon, Associate Pastor

        Rev. Munyon has served United Methodist congregations as Senior Pastor for the past 20 years. They include Trinity UMC, Pleasant Hill/Pelican/Mitchell Charge, and Cross Roads/Hall Summit Charge. He was appointed Associate Pastor at Benton UMC in July 2010. Rev. Munyon graduated from Perkins School of Theology (Course of Study) in 2000. Rev. Munyon served in the United States Armed Forces until his retirement in 1971. He also served in the United States Marshall Service as a Criminal Investigator until his retirement in 1991. In his free time, Rev. Munyon enjoys plaing golf and spending time at the lake with his wife, Linda, in the family motor home.
